Two Chinese Villages - Translation of the spoken passage

 

Subject1 (Taoyuan Village): China is one of the countries that had a developed culture even in its very early history. Its literary history goes back almost 4,000 years. 

Subject2 (Taoyuan Village): This history shows that Chinese people developed great agriculture, handicraft, and culture. 

Subject3 (Taoyuan Village): It is the center of politics, culture, education, scientific research, and transportation for the whole nation. Beijing is located in the north side of the Huabei plain. 

Subject4 (Jiuying Village): China is located in East Asia, west of the Pacific Ocean. Its total area is 9,600,000 square kilometers. 

Subject5 (Jiuying Village): China has varieties of landscapes. The territory of China is shaped in the form of several steps from the west to the east. The highest step is called Qingzang Plateaus. The average elevation of this area is higher than 4,000 meters. 

Subject6 (Taoyuan Village): Among which, Mount Everest with a height of 8,848 meters, is the highest mountain in the world.
